Fee reminder message generator

Write a polite WhatsApp reminder for a library member in Hinglish, Hindi or English: before the membership ends, on the day, after it is overdue, or a thank-you once they pay. Copy it, or open WhatsApp with the message ready.

Reminders that get fees paid on time

  • Remind before, not after. A message two or three days before the membership ends gives the member time to arrange money. Most late fees are simply forgotten dates.
  • Say the amount and how to pay. A reminder with the fee and your UPI ID needs no reply; the member can pay straight away.
  • Keep it short and polite. Students read these on the way to class. One clear line about the date and one about payment is enough.
  • Never name late payers in a group. Send reminders one to one. It keeps the member’s dignity and your library’s reputation.
  • Say thank you. A short message after payment confirms the new end date and avoids arguments later.

Sending reminders automatically

Typing reminders works for a few members. With fifty or more, dates slip. In BookMyDesk every membership has an end date, and the library can send WhatsApp reminders automatically before it ends, in Hinglish, Hindi or English. The owner can also send a reminder with a UPI pay link in one tap, and record the payment when it arrives.

Only message members who gave you their number and agreed to hear from the library, and stop when someone asks you to.

Questions

Does this send the message for me?

No. It writes the message. “Open in WhatsApp” opens your own WhatsApp with the text ready, and you press send. If you want reminders to go out on their own, BookMyDesk can send them automatically before each membership ends.

Which language should I send reminders in?

The one your members use with you. Many libraries in North India write in Hinglish (Hindi in English letters) on WhatsApp; others prefer Hindi or English. You can switch the language and copy a different version for each member.

Should I put my UPI ID in the message?

Yes, if you take fees by UPI. A member who can pay straight from the message is more likely to pay on time. Check the UPI ID carefully before sending.

Is anything I type stored?

No. The message is made in your browser. Names, numbers and amounts are not sent to BookMyDesk or saved.
